Humboldt Penguins
Who are we looking at? A colony of Humboldt Penguins.
Did you know? Humboldt Penguins ‘fly’ through the water at speeds of up to 25mph.
Conservation Status: IUCN listed as Vulnerable. Populations are declining due to limited food availability caused by overfishing and El Nino. Habitat destruction also threatens this species.
Feeding Time: Monday at 2.15pm, Tuesday and Thursday at 2.45pm, Friday at 3.15pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 2.45pm.
